Eccleshall slipped to a second successive defeat, as they were bowled out for 140 by high-flying Elworth.
Myles Coughlan’s 51 was the highlight of the hosts innings, but none of the other top six reached double figures as Eccleshall were bundled out, 23-runs short of their target.
Number 10 Matt Thomas, hit a fluent 19 late on to give his side an outside chance before he was last man out.
Former Pakistan bowler Yasir Ali was the pick of the Elworth attack, helping himself to 4 for 33, whilst James Holt picked up 3 for 25.
Ali had earlier top scored for the visitors, making 36, with skipper Russ Ballard making 29.
Coughlan rounded off an excellent personal day, picking up 3 for 10.

Eccleshall 2s enjoyed a comfortable victory away at Blythe.
Opener Tom Boulton top scored with 77, with Si Howland (46) and Craig Sinclair (30) providing support.
The hosts were then blown away by the Eccleshall attack as Dave Robertson (3/31), James Carruthers (2/23) and Jordan Beasley (2/27) shared the wickets, with Sinclair claiming two run-outs.
Scott Heathcote (29*) and Darren Brough (22) were the only two Blythe batsmen to reach double figures.
