Eccleshall were once again held up by the rain as they closed in on victory at Rode Park and Lawton.

A counter-attacking 48 from Cosmos Cupid and Aidan McGuire’s 28 helped Rode Park reach 145 before they were finally dismissed, with Sinclair taking 3-39.

Myles Coughlan hit a pacy 33 before he was bowled by Jalat Khan, and Rob Lakin plundered 21, before the rain brought an end to proceedings, with Eccleshall 68 for 1 off 15 overs.
